PURE EXPRESSION

Ramtin Ray Nosrati – a leading developer in LA, approached us to help him design and bring to life his vision for his latest 35,000 sq ft new build in Bel Air, Los Angeles. Ramtin is renowned for creating stand out new homes in the area and wanted to push the boundaries of his visualisations and designs to help secure the sale of the project once it was built.

Sitting on one of the highest points of Bel Air – the house sits with incredible views overlooking LA and looking towards the sea at Santa Monica.

STEP INSIDE

Creating a warm, comfotable and unique aesthetic for a beautiful family home were the key design points for the interiors. The 360° views and outside space with infinity pool deliver the wow factor from all the interior spaces so the design works to accentuate this, blurring the lines between your private indoor space and your luxurious outdoor patio.

Entrance & Stairwell

Covered in moss and set with a central skylight the wooden staircase sets the tone for what to expect from the home.

Kitchen Area

Dark wood tall cupboards flank the central kitchen design with a large breakfast bar for informal eating and open plan cooking.

Formal Living Area

Sat by the fire you can enjoy a collection of wines from the near by wine store. Dinner party guests will be blown away by the bespoke dining table.

Master Bedroom

Stunning wrapped terraces on the first floor allow you to take in the breaktaking views over LA and towards the sea right from your bed.

Master Bathroom

Blue onyx acts as the highlight for this master bathroom in the shower and creating a very unique wow factor.

The Cinema

Watch a movie under the stars with this 100 inch cinema screen, loungey sofas and mood lighting panels.

Project Brief Create a mansion on the water with the ultimate luxury detailed design Date 2021-2022 Location Greece Client Private Client Size 350 Ft

Description

1.61 London were asked to completely design a new 350 ft yacht that is going into production in late 2021. With the concept of a 'mansion on the water' we went to work on creating the most luxurious interior possible for such a special project. The design incorporates a full infinity swimming pool with a curved TV screen incorporated into the set up. The Yacht also includes a casino, multiple bar areas, an inside and outside dining area and a number of private bedrooms. There is a helicopter landing pad to the front of the yacht.

Description

We were tasked with creating an incredibly unique and luxurious flagship co-working space for Colony in Malaysia. The previous Colony projects tapped into specific themes and design styles to create a special environment for its members. In the modern time it is crucial to distinguish yourself and have a USP, something which the previous projects achieved successfully.

1.61 London set about this tasks taking influences from New York and London to create a totally unique industrial / modern vibe that runs through the flowing spaces. The project was shortlisted for multiple international design awards.
