Permissions
Working in parallel with our design team, the construction division look at the various permissions that are required for the project. There is the need to understand if planning and/or listed consents are required for the work that has been agreed. Alongside this a license for alterations may also be required depending on the ownership structure and location. All of these permissions can be lengthy and it's therefore important to run this aspect in parallel with the design process as much as is possible.
Site Set Up
Once we have agreed an implementation package through our interior design process - our team run through our pre-start procedures which includes various aspects from checking on asbestos, running health and safety, setting up a site office with welfare and ensuring all the correct insurances are in place.
Procurement
Managing the procurement process and cross-programme construction activity is vital to the delivery of any project. Our experienced team of project managers are consistently working between the design team and the construction team to ensure the right delivery of goods to site at the right time and checking that the implementation of the construction team is as expected. We have spent years growing a unique supplier network which ensures price competitiveness alsongisde the best products available in the market for our projects.
Construction
Completion
At completion the 1.61 London project team alongside the design team run a full internal snagging process to ensure that the project is ready for full handover to the client. We then ask our clients to run their own snagging process before move in so that all areas can be picked up. We ensure through this process that every detail of the project is exactly as expected so that our clients can move into their home with excitement for the end result.
