A 25,000 square feet country manor house with astounding proportions and unique detailing located up in Northern England. 1.61 London were tasked to create the interior of this unique family home, nestled in the countryside which has received classification as a ‘Building of Unique Architectural Merit’.

A new aesthetic that is a bridge between modern London luxury, traditional proportions and inside/outside living.

A fusion of styles

STEP INSIDE

A building of unique architectural merit where the client wanted to embrace inside/outside living as well as highly luxurious finishes against a traditional backdrop. This required our team to think innovatively to create a space that exuded uniqueness whilst tying together so many different desing principles.

Entrance

Water features and paved stone lead you through to the glazed entrance of this country manor.

Kitchen Area

A fusion of traditional and modern design set this kitchen apart from the normal. A curved banquette seating area allows for easy family dining alongside the long breakfast bar.

Formal Living Area

The central feature to the interiors that wrap the beatiful terrace space that sits next door. The formal living space sets the tone for the formal interior spaces with a beautiful book matched onyx central feature with fire to suit and stunning bespoke chandelier.

Formal Media Room

The formal media room is for those lazy weekends when the whole family are around and you want to sit and enjoy a comfortable seating area. A huge projector allows for easy viewing whilst overlooking the beautiful terrace space.

Formal Bar Area

Sitting next to the formal lounge and media room - the bar area makes the centrepiece of its design the outside space by flanking joinery either side of a central window. A breakfast bar allows guests to easily enjoy the space whilst being served.

Patio

A central terrace space that brings stunning vistas to all the formal spaces of the house.
