Project Brief To lead the complete interior design of Brigade Court, transforming a site formerly housing the London Fire Brigade into a super-prime residential community. The goal was to marry heritage with contemporary finishes, delivering luxury interior design in London for both private and communal spaces, reinforcing identity, comfort, and modern living. We delivered an interior scheme that honours the past while offering contemporary luxury: from individual apartments to shared amenity spaces including a cinema, private dining room, gym, breakout lobby, café, and marketing suite. The design balances rich materials, natural light, spatial flow and bespoke detailing.
Key Design Features
Heritage Meets Contemporary Luxury
The design blends the site’s historic fire station architecture with contemporary luxury. Restored listed elements sit seamlessly alongside modern forms, refined finishes and high-end materials.
Elevated Shared Amenities
Communal areas – including the cinema, gym, private dining room and café, are designed with the same level of craftsmanship as the residences. Spaces like the Watch House, Mess Hall and Training Yard enhance the overall luxury living experience.
Interiors with Purpose and Personality
Light, Flow & Spatial Clarity
Layouts maximise daylight and circulation, with the central courtyard bringing natural light deep into the buildings. High ceilings and smart planning ensure even smaller apartments feel open and refined.
A Distinct Identity
Inspired by the theme “Traditionally Different”, the scheme unites heritage details- ironwork, brickwork and period lighting, with modern minimalism, creating a unique and sophisticated design identity.
